Home run for Zak!

Zak Stafilis in Year 10, has made it into the Australian Under 16s Perfect Game Team. He competed with his team, the Victorian T-Bones on the Gold Coast during the holidays. The team came third in the competition and Zak was selected to represent Australia in a tournament that will take place in Florida. Zak has also been selected to train at the ING academy in September this year for the Australian Team. 

Zak is a highly talented batter and also plays the position of Short Stop - which is considered to be among the most demanding defensive positions as more hit balls go to the shortstop than to any other position.

In the near future, Zak hopes to use his baseball skills to earn him a scholarship to attend an American University. From there, Zak hopes to get drafted for Major League Baseball.
