A joke for a treat!
In the last week of Semester 1 at the library, there were some memorable moments in the form of jokes told by students. Tahnee M from Year 7 and Billy T from Year 8 stood out with their repeated presence and skill in delivering punchlines, well done to the two of you!
These jokes brought laughter and entertainment to the library, with many students enthusiastically participating in the "Tell us a Joke" activity.
Here are some of the best jokes from students.
1. How do you know a zombie is dyslexic? He only eats Brians!
2. What is a ghost's favourite fruit? A boo-berry!
3. What do you get when you boil a funny bone? Laughing stock!
4. What tea is hard to swallow? Reali-tea!
5. What do you call a train full of toffee? A chew-chew train!
6. Why did the tomato blush? It saw the salad dressing!
Last day games and activities
To wrap up the semester, teaching staff organised engaging games in the library and a talent show in the Hope Centre that brought the students together.
The house leaders took charge of various activities in the library, offering a range of options such as Nintendo Wii and Switch games, board and card games, chess competitions and Virtual Reality experiences. Students had a blast participating, with consoles set up on the library screens for friendly matches between teachers and students. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, cheers and a sense of friendly competition, making it an enjoyable afternoon for all attendees.
