How long have you worked at Heathmont?

I lost count when I went on leave but I think I've racked up about 8 years at Heathmont now.

When you were little what did you aspire to be?

I wanted to be an artist, but my best friend was a much better drawer than I was and I wanted to do something different. So instead, from a young age, I decided I was going to be a Teacher. I thought at the start maybe Primary School Teaching but quickly changed my mind. In high school I started becoming serious about my music and almost decided to pursue a career in cabinet making. But teaching won again, and I decided on Music and English secondary school teaching.

What's your favourite holiday destination?

Barooga, NSW. I go camping with my family on the Murray River every year, it's beautiful and the fishing is good.

Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?

I would want Rose Byrne to play me. She's an amazing Australian actress with the right amount of sass and style.

Do you collect anything?

I collect lots. If you have ever had the pleasure of witnessing the collection on my work desk you would notice I collect pineapples, trinkets, music bits and bobs, plants and many more things. All these things I collect reminds me of all the wonderful students at Heathmont past and present and the awesome things we have achieved.
