3/4MS Middle Gully

Landcare report by Matilda and Sarah.

We finally walked over to Middle Gully for land care.

Before we could have some fun, we had to sit down at the big tree. We split into two groups of eleven so we could start having fun.

Our first fun activity was making cool animal lanterns. First, we had to get bottles and stick pretty animal shapes on them. Next, we had to glue tissue paper on the bottles. Our lanterns were coming together beautifully. Now we cut some string to put on our amazing lanterns. Then we waited for them to dry, while we did our next activity.

The next activity was worm farming. We chopped apples and banana peels to feed the worms. The worms appeared very happy. Some of the worms were picked up so we could see them better.

We had a lot of fun!!!!

Landcare Report   by Asher and Roisin.

We walked over to Middle Gully for land care with Mr Oxworth and some wonderful parents. We sat down at the big tree. We split into two groups ready to have fun. Our first fun activity was making cool animal lanterns. First, we had to get bottles and stick pretty animal shapes on them. Next, we had to glue tissue paper onto the bottles and our lanterns were coming together nicely.  The final touch was adding some string. Then we checked the worms…They looked hungry so we fed them.

We had a lot of fun at middle Gully.
