Cheese & Ham Pinwheels

I remember as a kid growing up in the 70s & 80s my mum would whip these up for me and my siblings after we had arrived home from a hectic day at school.

Piping hot from the oven, dripping in cheese, we devoured these within seconds, wishing there was more.

Quick and easy to make, be creative and add your own favourite fillings.

  5. Diced Tomato
  6. Finely chopped Parsley
  7. Grated Cheddar/Swiss any good melting Cheese

More Flavour Variations

Preheat Oven to 180 degrees.

Line baking trays with Baking Paper

  1. Defrost Puff Pastry Sheets
  2. Spread each sheet of Puff pastry evenly & thinly using the Leggos Pizza Sauce Tomato Paste or Dijon Mustard
  3. Sprinkle with diced tomatoes, ham, grated cheese and chopped parsley
  4. Starting at one end, roll up the puff pastry as tightly as possible, making sure all the ingredients stay inside the roll.
  5. Wrap in Glad Wrap and Refrigerate for 15-20 mins (this makes it a little easier for slicing)
  6. Using a sharp serrated knife, carefully cut each roll into 1 - 1 ½cm wide slices.
  7. Arrange the slices 2cm apart on the prepared baking trays.
  8. Bake until the puff pastry is light golden brown and the cheese is hot and bubbly, about 18 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle with chopped parsley, thyme or chives.

Suitable for freezing after cooking.
