Weeden Heights are incredibly proud of Doryan and Dayyan Sobhani who grew their hair to support the Kids with Cancer Foundation 'Wigs4Kids' campaign.  Doryan's pony tail was long enough to be used to make a brand new wig for a child. 

Hi, I'm Doryan, I cut my hair for people with cancer. They're going to make a wig out of my hair.  I had to grow if for 8 months before it was the right length (23 cm). I'm looking forward to doing it next year!

Parliament Prize

Late last term, the Parliament of Victoria asked students across the state, from Grade 5 to Year 12, to share what they would say to parliament if they were an MP. This competition gives students a chance to talk about the issues that are important to them and our community. Many of our senior students took on the challenge of shooting a video of no longer than 90 seconds to voice their views on an important issue. Below is a sample of our videos.
