Kinder Visit to Carwatha College P-12

We had a visit from the Robins Nest childcare centre Kinder students. They participated in PMP with our Prep Teacher Mrs McPhie and our Primary Captains who were great role models for the kinder children. We will be having more kinder visits over the next fortnight. 

Busking Trio Welcome Kinder Visiting Students

On Wednesday June 7th the Carwatha busking trio welcomed the very cute and gorgeous kindergarten children who came to have a look at our friendly school.

The buskers: Winona Bonne, Filimon Moutis and Hayley Lucas played two songs to the children. The first song required some participation and Winona first made sure all the children could; Clap their Hands, Stomp their Feet and Shout "Hooray" and then they launched into "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands".

The children were excellent at doing all the actions and enjoyed participating. They then sat down and listened to a lovely rendition of "Valerie".

It was interesting to note that actually Fil and Hayley have both been at this school since prep. The kindergarten children had a great time and I told them we hope to see them next year and to come and say hello.

Carwatha College P-12 is looking for families willing to act as hosts for international students. Students from many countries apply to study in Victorian Schools and Carwatha College P-12 is a school accredited to provide education for them.
