ABOUT?

Your library, your career – manage, advocate and create change for a dynamic school library and fulfilling career : a forum for school libraries

The day consisted of both theory and practice workshops discussing our libraries, and sharing with colleagues in other library sectors our experience and knowledge on how we all manage, advocate and create change in our own libraries. We heard guest speakers talk about their libraries and programs they run to engage with the Victorian community through services and partnerships. It was also interesting to hear, a leading library educator, Carol Gordon, Associate Professor of Library and Information Science talk about the program ‘New models of collaboration/the school library as a model for reform’ and hear her insights in how to deal with various issues affecting school libraries today
