The session took us through how to set up and use the On Demand Testing system for Literacy and Numeracy.

Copyright Overview for libraries

looked at copyright issues which effect all libraries,

Copyright Fundamentals for libraries

looked at different types of materials eg books, manuscripts published materials etc. and how copyright is applied to different cases and some of the exemptions which may be applied.

Libraries Workshop

looked at different copyright scenarios for different types of libraries and whether special case, exemptions etc were able to be applied.

 

 

7th May:

Educational Institutions: Using Text and Images

General issues relating to the schemes administered by Copyright agency, amounts that may be reproduced and communicated under the schemes.

Educational institutions: Using Sound & Screen:

Looked at screenrights, copying music and sound recordings, using music sound recordings at institution events, using film and video content, the internet, intranet, apps and digital licences.

Educational Institutions: Using New

 

Technologies

looked at a variety of case studies for Secondary colleges, Uni’s, TAFES and distance education providers.
