EMC Production

As the curtain closes on our 2023 College Production of ‘Legally Blonde,’ Elle's quest for self-discovery, unbreakable determination, and resilience continues to resonate with us.

Throughout this 7 month process, this cast challenged themselves to become the best versions of themselves. We saw students who only saw themselves as dancers, actors or singers become exceptional triple threats. Each student poured genuine emotion into crafting characters that felt real, diving deep into themes of embracing who you are, believing in yourself, showing kindness, and never giving up.

At the same time, our devoted student orchestra tackled the challenge of mastering a complex score, pulling it off flawlessly—a testament to their unwavering dedication and incredible skills. We couldn’t be more impressed by these students who were so focused and passionate about continuing to build on their musical talents.

We acknowledge the hard work of our crew working tirelessly behind the scenes to make the complex scene changes, and quick costume changes, look effortless.

As production coordinators, our mission has always been to spark inspiration, present exciting challenges, and launch students beyond what they thought possible. Watching every student pour their energy into rehearsals and performances left us amazed. The way they cheered each other on backstage created a tight-knit community of up-and-coming stars.

Our hearts are bursting with pride for each and every student who gave their all to this production. We want to express our deepest gratitude to parents, caregivers, College staff, and the wider Langwarrin community for standing behind our students and offering unwavering support during this unforgettable journey.

As we transition into the next few weeks, we can't wait to relive the magic through the lens of some amazing photos from the shows.

Now, we start to look to 2024… !
