The Chamber Choir accompanied by Mr Krieg and Ms Wellins travelled to Ballarat on Wednesday 23rd August to compete in the Royal South Street Society Choral Competitions. The Chamber Choir performed three pieces - "No Surprises" by Radiohead, "Nowhere Train" by Sue Johnson, and finished with "Moon River" by Henry Mancini. 

The Chamber Choir were thrilled to be awarded 1st Place in their division!  Congratulations to all involved.

Over the past few weeks our Jazz Bands and Concert Bands have been performing at the Victorian School Bands Festival with excellent results. Thank you to our students and conductors for all of their hard work preparing their performance programs. We are looking forward to sharing their music with you at the Showcase/Gala Evening on Monday 16th October (ticket information to come shortly).

Jazz Night

Our annual Jazz Night will be held at the Brunswick Ballroom on Sydney Road in Brunswick on Tuesday September 12th.  Please click here to purchase tickets

The Jazz Bands at Viewbank College including the Ellington, Fitzgerald, Hancock and Super Bands will be performing at the Brunswick Ballroom.  This is always a very enjoyable night of music making with some exciting swing, cool improvisations and 

funky grooves.

Time:  7pm (doors open 6.30pm)

Entry Cost:  $20 per person (not including food or drinks)
