Faith Education

Dear Parents,

A very special day coming up this Sunday. Some of our Year 4 and 5 students will be making their First Eucharist during the St Ignatius Feast Day Mass at 9.30am. All community members are invited to this special moment in these students' lives. 

Through the Priest's and congregations' prayers, the consecration of the gifts of bread and wine occurs and they then permanently change into the Body and Blood of Christ.

In receiving the gift of his Body and Blood, Christians are brought closer to Jesus, which helps them to do his work in the world.

We are all called to share our gifts through service.

This was some of the learning of last Tuesday night, when we celebrated our Eucharist Family Faith night. We had a lovely evening that finished with a beautiful meal, prepared and served by our school staff.

We are really looking forward to celebrating these days with Father Trung SJ, our students and staff, and our community.
