Monash Oakleigh Community Support Sock Drive
Volunteers Liz & Carol from Monash Oakleigh Community Support gratefully accepted our sock donations this week. They were thrilled with the number of socks and advised that being able to receive new clothing items supports the dignity of those in need.
Monash Oakleigh Community Support provides information and support to those who are marginalised, isolated or suffering from poverty of discrimination.
Currently, they have low quantities of men’s clothing and request any donations in good clean condition. This includes suitable clothing for job interviews.

National Homelessness Week officially begins on 7 August. Local homelessness organisations and advocacy groups are banding together to spread the message ‘It’s time to end homelessness’.
