NOSH NARRABRI

Nosh Narrabri is returning to the region in 2023. Narrabri’s own biennial food & drink festival celebrates and promotes local and regional produce and products.

 

The two-day event will kick off on Saturday, 26 August  boasting a family friendly market day with something for the whole family to enjoy, followed by the famous Nosh Long Lunch on Sunday 27 in the parklands behind The Crossing Theatre.

 

Our famous Cheesecake competition, BBQ cook-off and Beer brewing championships will all feature at the Saturday Nosh food & drink festival, as well as live music and up to 40 unique food and drink exhibitors from across our region and further a far.

 

There will be a huge range of activities for the little ones in the exclusive Nosh Kid’s Zone!

We will have special guest, George the Farmer, who will be performing two separate shows throughout the day, story time with the author and a meet and greet with George.

Ebonnie Whan will be bringing a ‘mad food science’ experience which is a fun interactive performance that encourages kids to eat a rainbow of foods every day. There will also be free face painting and a jumping castle to keep the kids entertained!

 

Leading up to the event we are running a colouring in competition for primary school students. The student's received the colouring in competition today. Completed entries from children will be due back to the school by Tuesday, 22 August 2023. 

 

There will be two winners announced on the morning of Nosh, one from K-2 and one from Years 3-6.The winner from each category will receive a prize pack which includes a children’s cookbook and art supplies.
