Community Safety Training

The City of Glen Eira is holding an Automated External Defibrillator training session for the community on the 24 August at 6:30 to 8pm. 

The session is delivered by Community First Responders Australia. 

The session will include: 

• the difference between cardiac arrest and heart attack
• responding to an unconscious person and a person experiencing cardiac arrest
• how to use an AED and perform CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) 
• practice using CPR and AEDs with dummies
• opportunity for questions and answers. 

The session is for training purposes and does not provide a CPR qualification.
