Karoonda Park

Base camp was a wild ride. A long 5 hour trip to Karoonda park was a decent start to the week. We stopped at the Buchan caves, admiring the natural sculptures. At Karoonda, the day activities included horse riding, initiative activities, abseiling, flying fox, rafting on the snowy river, hiking, rock climbing and plenty of games. At night, sometimes we chilled in front of a fire or while watching the movie dodgeball, and other times we got active by hiking in the dark or playing ultimate uno championships. The whole week was thrilling, with great people and teachers, and I highly recommend the camp to any year 8. Bloody Oath!
