Principal's Report

Term 3 Week 10

This week will be Bec Gathercole’s last week of teaching at Moyhu. I would like to thank Bec for all her work. Bec has been fantastic as a mentor for Kate and has continued to challenge and extend our student’s learning. She will be missed by us and the King Valley Cluster, for her curriculum knowledge and her leadership in this area. I wish her all the best in her new position at Yarrunga PS and for her future teaching career. Moyhu Primary School and students have been very fortunate to have had Bec teach at this school.

We have appointed a new staff member to replace Kate until the end of the year. Her name is Rebekka Sinclair. She has returned back to the region after living and teaching in Western Australia for a number of years. She will be starting next term teaching in the F-3 room. I will be teaching the 4-6 students full time for Term 4.

I think everyone has heard the news of the new arrive at Mrs Whites house with the birth of her baby boy Ben Jackson. All are doing well and we look forward to seeing them at school for a visit during next term.

School Fundraising - Show Us Your Wheels Meeting

In the second week of the school holidays, on Thursday 3rd October, there will be a meeting at the Moyhu Hotel at 6:30pm to discuss and plan details of the Show Us Your Wheels Event. It would be great if everyone could attend this meeting if you are not away.

I would like to wish everyone a restful break and hopefully everyone is able to relax a bit and enjoy the great weather.
