I trust that students had a wonderful break and are ready for another busy term. Welcome back to all.

Winter Uniform

Students should now be in winter uniform. A reminder that the parka is an optional piece of uniform and can be worn over the top of the school blazer, not as a replacement for the school blazer. Students are required to wear the Winter shirt and a tie. Girls stockings must be navy blue and in good condition. Boys should be wearing the Winter trousers. Make up and jewellery are not permitted with the exception of one stud or sleeper per earlobe and a watch. Please ensure your child is attending school in the correct uniform every day.

House Athletics

The House Athletics Day will be held on Wednesday 2 May at Meadowglen International Athletics Stadium, McDonalds Road in Epping.  As always, parents should feel free to come along and spectate.  When attending, parents are asked to sign in at the gate. If you are going to take your child home straight from the event, please do provide a written note to your child's Homeroom teacher before the day.

ANZAC Service

The ANZAC service was held on Tuesday 24 April. Students listened to poetry and prayers with much thought and respect for the fallen. Dunhelen students were also shown a short clip at Monday's Assembly that demonstrated the significance of this day and the sacrifices that were made for our country.

yLead Program

The Year 8 students took part in the yLead program this week. The program is an interactive one where students move through a series of team based activities that build strong relationships and positive group dynamics. Leadership skills are also explored and students are encouraged to further develop their personal talents. It is hoped that students learnt something positive about themselves through their involvement in the program.
