Mothers Day at Aitken

We have been busy planning that very special event to celebrate: Mothers Day at Aitken.

 Mothers Day Breakfast Thursday 10 May - The day kicks off at 7.30am to 8.30am in the Food Technology Building. Delicious egg and bacon rolls, tea and coffee at the bargain price of $5.00. So as to be certain that you do not miss out, please complete the booking form attached and return to the school by Monday 7 May.

Mothers Day Stall Thursday 10 May - The stall is being held during the day for the Fairview and Cumberland students. Students will be taken by their teachers to the stall during the day, where they can purchase gifts from $3.00 - $10.00. The stall will also be open during the lunchtime break for purchases.

Thank you to the parents who have advised they are coming to help with the stall and the breakfast. We still need a couple of more helpers for the breakfast; please let us know if you can help for an hour in the morning.

CPA Canteens

The Parents and Friends Association are running the canteen at the upcoming events in the Chapel and Performing Arts Centre.

• The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe - 3 May at 7.30pm and 4 May at 3.30pm
• The Boat - 17 May at 7.30pm, 18 May at 3.30pm and 19 May at 7.30pm

If you can spare an hour or two to help at one of the above canteens either in the evening or after school it would be a great help. Please let us know by email pandf@aitkencollege.edu.au

Trivia Night

Has been rescheduled to Saturday 11 August. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the trivia night scheduled for 20 April, due to lack of numbers. We had 58 enthusiastic people coming but we need more to make it a successful night. Lock in this date in your calendar Saturday 11 August.

The funds raised from all of the above activities goes back into purchasing these extra things for the school and is all run by volunteers.
