Whole School Photo

As part of the College’s 20th birthday celebrations, a whole school photo will be taken on Monday 14 May. Reminders will be made in the previous week, but it will be important that all students are in full College winter uniform on that day.

Uniform – PE/House T-shirts

The newer style PE/House T-shirts were introduced in early 2016 with a three-year transition period. Hence all students are expected to be wearing these shirts for PE and House events from the start of 2019 (except for 2019 Year 12 students).

College Hats and being “Sunsmart”

The College peaked/baseball hat has been discontinued, mainly due to it’s style not being sun smart. A new broader brimmed uniform hat will be available soon for both Primary and Secondary students. As has been the case, Primary students are required to wear their hats when playing outside. Secondary students will be encouraged to bring a hat to outdoor events.

Parenting Ideas

We all want “the best for our kids”, but all parents struggle with how to do this. We want children to be happy, successful, independent, resilient and all those great qualities that we’re told they must have, but how do they achieve these? I encourage you to look at the resources available at www.parentingideas.com.au- you can subscribe to their blog and newsletter. In this and upcoming newsletters, I will include some very useful parenting articles that contain relevant and useful tips and advice. This week’s article is on how to support your children when they experience problems at school.
