Musical Camp

An extremely successful Musical Camp in the final three days of the holidays provided a wonderful opportunity for the cast and band to refine their skills in preparation for Disney’s High School Musical. More than ten staff also gave up their time to assist the students and the results were great. The show is really coming together and Director, Ms Beth Thomson and Musical Director, Mr Nicholas Frampton were very happy with all that was achieved by having such an intensive rehearsal period. Thanks to all involved.

VCE Theatre Studies Play

This year’s VCE Play, 'The Boat' by Chris Dickins, chronicles four short stories revolving around the central prop of a boat and spanning nearly 100 years. The legacy of a grandfather to his grandson is woven through stories of young kids in the early 1900’s, those left behind during times of war and a group of transient hippies trying to understand their place in the world. I encourage you to come along to one of three performances starting at 7.30pm on Thursday 17 May, 3.30pm on Friday 18 May and finally 7.30pm on Saturday 19 May. Tickets are $16.50 adults, $11.00 students/children or a family of four for $55.00 (plus booking fees). https://www.trybooking.com/UGEF
