EngGirls Ambassadors

Last term, EngGirls ambassadors in Year 10 and 11 designed Pop Up Clubs for Primary students. With the Slimey Slime Club, Ocean Confetti, Trash Busters, Mini Science and Sporty Science, Primary students participated in a wide range of activities over a couple of lunchtimes. Making posters and craft from recycled materials was popular, as was rainbow bubbles, making slime and trying to improve their ball skills. The EngGirls program aims to provide students in Secondary school with an opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills and gain confidence in their ability in STEM subjects. The pop up clubs were the perfect opportunity for the EngGirls to hone their project management skills, as well as further develop skills in team work and public speaking.
