Today our Kindergarten classes commenced. Thank you to Mrs McMillan and Mrs Godwin for all their work with the Best Start Assessments in the lead up to the Kinder classes starting. After a wonderful transition program last year it was lovely to see how well the new Kinders settled into their classrooms.
Thank You
A huge thank you to Mrs Michelle McKay who has run our clothing pool for the last several years as a volunteer. Michelle, due to a change in employment, is no longer able to run the clothing pool so we are currently looking for a volunteer to take over this positions. The job entails coming in one afternoon a week from 2pm to 3:15pm to sort and hang donated clothing and to be available to assist any parents wishing to purchase clothing from the pool. We are flexible about the afternoon the clothing pool is open however it needs to be a set day. If you are interested in taking on this important job or need more information please contact the school office.

Parent Information Sessions
We will be holding Parent Information Sessions on Tuesday 11th February and we hope all families will have at least one parent attend these important meetings. Working in partnership with parents is an important part of Catholic education and these meetings give teachers the chance to share their hopes, expectations, plans and procedures for their class in 2020. Session times are:
- 5:00 pm – Kindergarten
- 5:20 pm – Year 1
- 5:40 pm – Year 2
- 6 pm – Year 3
- 6:20 pm – Year 4
- 6:40pm – Year 5
- 7pm – Year 6
Please note that these information sessions are for Parents and Guardians and we ask you where possible to arrange care for your child/ren at home as there will be no supervision.
Learning Environments
Please be aware that the corridors outside Kindergarten and Year 1, enclosed by the glass doors, are learning spaces. When dropping off Year 1 children parents are asked to walk them across the quadrangle to the breezeway where the bag racks are, please do not use the corridor. Parents picking up children in the afternoon need to wait in the quadrangle for the children to exit classroom spaces .
