PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Mrs Jillian Rainger
We have made it nearly to the middle of the term...it certainly happens in a hurry. We are expecting updated Covid 19 guidelines later this week and will pass on information to families as soon as it comes to hand. Thank you to all those who collected their two lots of Rapid Antigen Tests and have informed us if the results have been positive.
The school has settled into a nice rhythm for the year with classes being settled and focused on learning. All classes have been reviewing our Rules for Living:
I am safe
I am valued, respected and cared for
I am a learner
to establish positive relationships and work habits.
As we hear about the new guidelines we will be able to finalise our calendar of events for the term and share this with families. Fingers crossed we are allowed to be doing more extracurricular activities with families being able to join us.
In the coming days, you will receive your Term 1 Fee invoice. Please keep an eye out for it in your email account. Please let us know if you do not receive it by 25 February as we may not have the most up to date email address. Also, please take the time to review your account. If you have an outstanding amount from 2021 please pay the arrears as soon as possible. If you pay your account via direct debit please do a check of whether your regular payment will cover the annual fees. You may need to increase your regular payment. Some people are also ahead in their fee payment, please adjust if you wish to. Michelle Swadling in the Front Office can assist with this.
This year we are using a new tracking system for keeping on top of fee payments with the CSO Armidale. It is crucial that you make contact with me if you are having difficulties with fee payment so we can discuss arrangements before accounts get out of hand. You can contact me via email at jrainger@arm.catholic.edu.au, or by contacting Cathy Dyer at the Front Office to make an appointment to see or call me. Dee Delaney our Finance Officer is also available Monday to Thursday at the Front Office to answer any questions related to fee payment.
Payment of school fees is crucial to the running of the school. Thank you to our families who make a commitment to the prompt and regular payment of their fees. I understand, at times, it is difficult to manage all financial commitments but please be reassured we are here to help and your situation is handled confidentially and sensitively.
Thank you to those families who have given consent via Compass for use of images in our media promotions. We have at least half of our school population having consenting. Please log on to Compass and look in Events and give consent. Our placement of photos on our Facebook page is limited until we get this media permission.
Parents are responsible for:
● ensuring that their children attend school regularly
● explaining, to the school, the absences of their children promptly and within seven
days
If your child is absent there are a number ways of providing to the school the explanation:
In 2022 we will be sending a reminder email and following up with a letter for unexplained absences. Please respond promptly to these next step initiatives to make sure our attendance rolls are accurate. Your support in this matter is appreciated.
All our students who came along to our swimming carnival. We will soon have an expose of photos on our Facebook page (we just need your Media Conset forms back!) It was a great day - the students behaviour was excellent and they participated with great spirit!
