A Saints Artist Wins First Prize at Cairns Show

Jackson Starmer, in Year 7, is an all-round talented young student. He is involved in music as a guitarist, and is also a talented artist having won first place in not just one, but two sections at the Cairns Show. Congratulations Jackson!

 


A Talented Saints Student Joins Cairns Choral Society

Reagan Crookes, in Year 12, has also been busy outside of school sharing his talents with the wider community.  As a music, dance and drama student, Reagan has  joined the Cairns Choral Society.  He performed with the choir in the NQ Eisteddfod in Townsville in the last holidays. In their latest production of Cabaret and Cocktails, Reagan had many roles, one of which was as a solo singer in the show.  He’s also been cast in the ensemble in the upcoming musical Spamalot. Fantastic work, Reagan.


Queensland School Sport Cross-Country Championships

Congratulations Rhys Stevens on placing 9th overall in the U14s Queensland School Sport Cross-Country Championships and 27th in the combined U14s and U15s division. Rhys was also part of the Peninsula relay team which placed 6th the following day.
