Year 12 QTAC and Future Pathways Parent Information Evening

This is an event for parents and Year 12 students

As outlined in the College calendar, the Year 12 QTAC and Future Pathways Parent Information Evening will be held next Monday 8 August in  Lennon Hall (entry via Severin St).

This evening will provide parents and students with information about applying to university and other tertiary institutions through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) as well as apprenticeships and other work opportunities. While students will receive a detailed overview of the QTAC process and workplace applications, we have found that parents find it helpful to have an insight into what their sons need to do to apply.

This presentation will focus on how to apply to QTAC for a university degree or TAFE diploma course and how to maximise the chances of obtaining an offer.

From 4:30 to 5:30pm, there will also be displays from the Australian Defence Force, JCU and CQU, with representatives on hand to assist with inquiries.

I encourage  your son to attend the information evening with you.
