Local Talent
BSC student Adeline Corbett represented the Central Highlands Netball League at the Western District Association Championships, held in Ballarat on the 11th July. The CHNL team played in the Reserve Grade, competing against teams from across Victoria's Western Region.
Winning all except one game in their round robin competition, the girls were fortunate enough to make the Grand Final against Maryborough - Castlemaine League. The game was extremely close, with both teams going goal for goal right up until the final siren. Unfortunately, the CHNL team lost by 1 goal in the final seconds of the match, leaving them as the Reserve Grade Runners Up. All players are to be commended on their fantastic efforts throughout the day and for being chosen to represent their league.
Adeline did an outstanding job as the team's goal shooter and should be extremely proud of her achievements.

Doctors In Schools Program
Our school wants to encourage students to utilise the Doctors In School's (DIS) service, so that they are not having to miss time from their studies, leaving school to visit a doctor.
The Doctor and Nurse are available at the College in our Doctor's Room, fortnightly on a Tuesday from 9:00am – 3:30pm, starting from Tuesday 27th July. Students can arrange an appointment through Jackie Kerr (Assistant Principal), or they can drop into the Doctor's Room during Recess or Lunch. Appointments are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.
This is a great service for our students and we hope they take full advantage. If you are unwell, haven't been to the doctor for some time, require a referral/medication or are just needing to chat about something, the medical staff are available to help.
