Canteen

I hope everyone has had a smooth transition back to school. It has been so lovely to catch up with the students again at the Canteen window.

 

Pizza Lunch:

Pizza Lunch will now be held next Tuesday 3rd August. 

Thank you to all of the families who have placed orders. 

 

Canteen Bingo:

This term, the Canteen Committee is holding a competition for students and families, asking for donations of pantry items – Canteen Bingo.

Each class has received a Bingo Card featuring pictures of pantry items that are used in the canteen. Some items will require multiple items/quantities- for instance, Cling Wrap 30m (can be: 3 x 10m rolls, or 1 x 30m roll). Each card has a slightly different group of products to collect.

All brands are perfectly fine, except those which have been specifically listed, e.g., Fountain Tomato Sauce, Cobs Flavoured Popcorn etc.

  • A copy of all Bingo Cards will be kept up to date in the hallway outside the canteen
  • Once the full quantity of each item has been received, the bingo square will be crossed off at the canteen
  • The quantity of each item is listed under each photo (unless a single item is required)
  • Pictures of progress will be posted on the RHPS Facebook page weekly
  • Each class/year level has slightly different items required
  • Pictures are for reference only. Any brand is perfect unless it has been specifically listed, such as Cobs Flavoured Popcorn or Fountain Tomato Sauce
  • The collection period will run from Monday 19th July – Friday 27th August
  • The first class to have all items (in full quantities) crossed off their Bingo Board will win a fully catered class party before the end of term 3
  • The second class to complete their Bingo Board will win a fully catered class morning tea before the end of term 3
  • Every other class which completes their Bingo Board will receive a Zooper Dooper for each class member….so keep donating
  • I'm looking forward to making the announcement of winning classes very soon. Remember, every class that completes their card wins a prize!            Thank you so much to the families who have already donated, for your generosity and support.

'A Touch of Pink' Morning Tea:

JSC are working with me to organise our next special event which will be a Pancake Morning Tea on Tuesday 24th August, raising money for Cancer Council. The cost of each  pancake order includes a $1 donation which will go directly to Cancer Council. There will also be an option to make an additional donation to Cancer Council within the menu on MSC. 

Orders will be live next week on My School Connect and must be completed before 9.30am on Wed 11th August.
