Around The Primary

Dear Parents
It was wonderful to see our Chapel full on Monday night for the Holy Week music concert. Many thanks to the Wanju Voices for their beautiful singing and to Ms Alexander for preparing the Primary choir so well for this special event.

Holy Week
This week we have gathered each morning to reflect on Holy Week through readings, prayers and song. Special thanks to Miss Graves, Miss Nish and the Year 6 leaders for preparing the re-enactment of Palm Sunday and the Last Supper. Heartfelt thanks to Ms Allen and the students from Year 3G for leading the school community through the Stations of the Cross in a meaningful, powerful truly prayerful way.
Kind regards

Parent Teacher Meetings
As part of the Pre Primary to Year 6 Assessment and Reporting process, Parent-Teacher Interviews will be taking place from Wednesday 4 April. This is a valuable time for you to spend with the class teacher to discuss your child's academic and social progress.
Your child is not required to come along to the interview as it will be a two-way process between teacher and parent/s. However, we encourage all parents to discuss their child's future goals with them at home after the interview.
All parents are required to book their parent teacher meeting online, (PTO). These bookings can be made online and the link can be found on the College Web Page under 'Quick links' and then 'Events-Online bookings'. Alternatively, you can click on the link below and it will take you straight to the log in screen.

Once you get to the log in screen you must click on 'Obtain Pin or Password'. Your password will then be sent to your email.
Once you have logged in, you can select a time that suits you to meet with your child's classroom teacher in the final weeks of this term. All interviews will be a maximum of 15 minutes.
If you would like to book an appointment to see a specialist teacher, please contact them directly via email to set up a mutually convenient time.
Beauty and the Beast Poster Competition
The Secondary Drama Department were very impressed that they received many entries for the Musical Poster Competition. After judging by Ms Moore (Art/Drama), Ms Green and Mr Tsakisiris (Drama), the Winner of the Pre Primary to Year 2 competition was Jacey Li (1G) and Runner up was Alila Iredale (1B). The Winner of the Year 3 to 6 competition was Gemma Bailey (6G) and the Runner up was Aria Macmillan (4B). The Winners will receive a family pass to the musical and the Runners up will receive two tickets to the musical. Congratulations to all our amazing artists! Their posters will be on display outside Roncalli Hall during the musical.
Also, for those coming to the matinee performance at 2pm on Saturday 5 May, students are encouraged to dress up as their favourite character from Beauty and the Beast. They are welcome to stay behind after the show to have a photo with one or more of the cast.
Zoo Camp
Last night Year 5B attended the ‘Roar and Snore’ camp at Perth Zoo: Mrs Goss, Mrs Gardner, Miss Joyce, Miss Moore, Mr Fromm and I and the thirty students had a ‘zootastic’ time! More details about this wonderful experience will follow next week.
Best wishes for a happy and holy Easter.
