Assessment and Reporting

In the final week of term you will find subject assessment task grades on Xuno as well as Progress Report 3 for Years 7 - 11 and Report 5 for Year 12, the final progress report for the semester. You will also be able to access a PDF report on the Victorian Curriculum levels for each subject for students in Years 7 - 10. Progress Report 3 indicates if your child has been on an individual learning plan in a subject. It also indicates if the student has satisfactorily completed the semester or not (S or N). The 6 weekly reporting system we have introduced this year has enabled us to track the learning progress of students and implement interventions where necessary. We hope this system has also enabled parents to more successfully monitor their child’s progress. We will conduct a review of this reporting system at the end of the year.

Uniform Sub-Committee

This committee continues to meet regularly to review our uniform policy and make recommendations to council for any changes. Currently we are working to produce photographs on our website to make uniform requirements clearer to our community. We are also seeking to introduce a GEC endorsed weatherproof jacket.

Just a reminder that students should be wearing the school jacket or jumper to school and that no jewellery other than a watch and two pairs of earrings are to be worn.

Glen Huntly Park car park

Currently the council works in the car park and the staff and parent traffic make this area a hazard for students. We ask parents to avoid using this car park to drop off their children. Students should not access the school via the gate in this car park. It is a staff only entrance.

We wish all our students a restful and safe mid-year break and look forward to seeing you all back on the 17th July.
