Secondary School Enrolment
Information regarding your child’s Secondary School enrolment has been sent home to all students eligible to enrol for Secondary School in 2020. The application for Year 8 Enrolment Form (ED176) MUST BE RETURNED TO OUR SCHOOL even if your child has enrolled at a private school or will be attending a school other than their district school. Please return the forms to Lee at the Front Office of Hackham East Primary School, PLEASE DO NOT send them to the High Schools. Forms must be returned to Lee no later than Friday 24 May 2019, Term 2, Week 4.
- Please read the “Starting Secondary School” brochure carefully. Students applying for enrolment in out of zone schools will need to pay particular attention to page 11-Criteria for allocation of points
- Change Of Address-proof of residence must be provided-See page 8 & 9
- Sibling Rights Rule-A photocopy of the ID card is required of the student/sibling currently attending the out of zone school. (See page 12 in the Starting Secondary School Brochure)

Feedback and Complaints
Please refer to the link below for the procedure if you have feedback or a complaint concerning the school or staff member.
No Parking on School Grounds
Parents/Caregivers are reminded that the carpark is onlyfor staff, visiting Department for Education personnel and parents who have been issued with a pass by the Front Office.
For the safety of our students and school community please park outside the school grounds when dropping off or picking up students.
Lost Property
Please check the Lost Property boxes located in each teaching unit (Castle, Holly and Stillwell) for any item that may belong to your child. It is recommended that all items of clothing, drink bottles, lunch boxes etc brought to school by your child are clearly marked with your child's name. Please check to ensure the name is clearly visible so that any item found can be returned to the child.
Hackham East Kindergarten Playgroup
Hackham East Kindergarten have Playgroup each Friday of the term from 1:00-2:30pm. Registrations are also open for Preschool in 2020. See the flyer attached for more information.
Canteen News
Thank you to the volunteers who assisted with donations, preparations and assistance in the Canteen, Lucky Prizes and Sausage Sizzle on Saturday 18/5 for the Federal Election. We were successful in raising $2400.00 on the day. The community who attended appreciated what was available on the day and it promoted our school in a positive light.
Assembly Friday 24/5
Parents/Caregivers, friends and family are invited to attend the Assembly on Friday 24/5 at 9:00am in the Penney Unit. We will be celebrating Reconciliation Week. You are invited to stay for morning tea in the Conference Room after the conclusion of the Assembly.

School Dress Code Shop
The School Dress Code Shop is now open at the following times:
Wednesday 8:45 - 9:15am
Friday 2:30 - 3:00pm
The School Dress Code Shop is located at the end of Penney Space, behind the Canteen.
School Banking - Commonwealth Bank
A reminder that the school banking day is now THURSDAY.
Fundraising Committee News
Thank you to the parents/caregivers, students and staff who supported our Mother's Day stall with a total of $1656 being raised.
On Saturday 18/5 we raised $187.50 with the stall open to the public for the Federal Election.
Thank you to the volunteers who assisted with making both these occasions a great success.
