Fr Gaetan Pereira Interhouse Cross-Country Carnival

A reminder that our Modified Interhouse Cross-Country Carnival starts next week during the Year 7-10 PE lessons. All year 11 and 12 students will have the opportunity to race at a time after their exams.

Modified Competition Details

  1. For supervision and safety reasons the course will only take place on the college ovals. All students will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the new course in their PE lessons.
  2. All students will run the same distance of 3.2km with different cut off times for house points for males (21 minutes) and females (23 minutes).
  3. Students are required to wear their full PE uniform with their House shirt and to bring a water bottle for their race.
  4. Each student is encouraged to accessorise themselves in their house colours (within reason). Ideas include coloured socks, headbands, ribbons etc. They must be able to run the course while wearing these accessories. If students are unsure, they can run their ideas past their House Coordinator or PE teacher for approval.
