The joy of Maths in Prep W
House Cross Country 2021
Our annual House Cross Country Competition will be held on Tuesday 27th April at Dendy Park for all years 3, 4, 5 and 6 students. All participants must be suitably dressed in house colours as well as appropriate running attire which includes: running shoes, shorts, house colours, hat, sunscreen. The children will also need to ensure they have plenty to drink (water/sports drinks) and pre/post race healthy snacks to eat.
Parents are more than welcome to attend to watch the races (remember to social distance as per COVID SAFE measures). Helpers will be required to assist on the day to make sure each race runs smoothly. It’s very important to have parent helpers spread evenly around the course for safety measures. We don’t want students to get lost or to take a wrong turn! Please just turn up on the day if you are able to help out, we really appreciate your support.

- 9/10 yr Open - 2 kms
- 11yr Girls - 3 kms
- 11yr Open - 3 kms
- 12/13yr Girls - 3 kms
- 12/13yr Open - 3 kms
- Grade 3 Girls -1 km
- Grade 3 OPEN -1km
I look forward to seeing everyone down at Dendy Park to provide encouragement for all students competing. It will be a fantastic day of students competing, cheering and supporting each other.
Running Club - This is a much loved fitness activity. For those parents asking about its return, please know this takes place in Term 1 and Term 4. So... it will be back in Term 4. The Walk-a-thon is the fitness highlight for Term 2.

Mother's Day Stall
Brighton Beach Primary School will be holding its annual Mother's day stall. There is a fabulous range of gifts for mums, and all the amazing women in your life.
Date: Thursday 6th May
Time: 9am-12pm
Location: at school (kids will be taken to choose a gift during class time)
Tickets: $10 per gift, you can purchase multiple tickets.
