Parents & Friends Association
Welcome back to Term 2
On behalf of the P&F we hope you had a great break and are looking forward to what’s in store for term 2.
We kick off this term with a Mother’s Day Card Making night on Monday 2nd May. This will take place in the Staff Room at 7pm. Please come along and bring your creative side and have some fun making cards that will be sold to our children at the Mother’s Day Stall. We thank Kaisercraft Point Cook for donating 80 blank cards for us to unleash our creativity!!
Our annual Mother’s Day Stall will be held on Wednesday 5th May. Thank you to those who have volunteered to help. Gift bags and cards will be available to purchase . Children are able to bring up to $20 to purchase their gifts. Please make sure you bring your own bag also to put purchases in. Thank you to Karina Campbell who has been organising this, together with Jenny, Melissa, Meagan and Karlie!
Volunteer requests have also gone out for a fundraising BBQ at Bunnings on Sunday 16th May This is a great opportunity to raise funds external to the school community. If you are able to spare some time during the day it would be great to have many people involved. Please respond via Operoo. Form will be coming out Monday. Thank you to Karina Campbell for organising this.
We have organised a Mother’s Day “Paint and Sip” Event for Thursday 13th May at 7pm here at the Queen of Peace Art Room. It is BYO drinks. As alcohol is allowed, it is strictly an age 18+ event, no children will be able to attend. So come along, bring your friends and have a fun night out, drinking, chatting and painting!! Finger food will be provided. An Operoo note will come out over the next week or so for further information.
