LitterBuzz: Reducing single-use plastics in our school

Over the past week, and continuing into this week our School Wide Positive Behaviours for Learning (SWPBL) Leaders have been leading a project which they have titled "Litter Buzz".

LitterBuzz is aimed at reducing single-use plastics within student lunchboxes, and our SWPBL Leaders aim to achieve this by making and selling beeswax wraps as a sustainable alternative for student lunches.

Over the last week the SWPBL Leaders have been collecting data from across our classrooms, and will be speaking at each year level assembly on Monday 3rd May.

Keep your eye out for more information, as orders will soon be available. In the meantime, check out the SWPBL presentation below:

The Fabulous Combettes

In the Performing Arts Piece you will see a reference to the "FABULOUS COMBETTES". This is the name given to an absolutely outstanding group of our students who were selected to perform with the ARIA Award winning children's artist, Peter Combe.

Peter Combe is currently undertaking an Australian greatest hits tour, and recently performed with the Fabulous Combettes to a sell-out audience at the Melbourne Recital Centre.

We encourage you to attend our assemblies over the coming month, as the Fabulous Combettes will be performing for our students and families each Monday over the next four weeks.
