Secondary Student Leadership Assembly

On Tuesday 30th March, a special assembly of the Secondary School was held to induct our Secondary Student Leadership Team for 2021. During the induction ceremony, Class Captains, House Captains, College Vice Captains and College Captains were asked the following questions:

Do you undertake the role of Student Leader at Southern Christian College, knowing it is both a privilege and a responsibility?
Do you promise to honour the role by representing your fellow students and serving God and your school to the best of your ability?
Do you promise to lead with love, using the life of Jesus, the Servant King as your example?

The assembly included an inspirational message from Mr Barker who helped us to understand the biblical model of leadership and a moving time of prayer and valuable words of wisdom from Mr Lawson.

This was a special time for our Secondary School. We look forward to watching our Secondary Student Leadership Team grow, develop, influence and value add over the year.
