GR 4/5TR - INQUIRY

During term two, the students in the Gr 4/5TR have been learning about the concept of change through the lens of Australian history. They learnt about the events and people who helped shape our country, and the students identified causes and the reasons why people migrated to Australia from Europe and Asia. Students researched a historical event with a partner and then completed a PowerPoint explaining the event, what caused the event and what effects the event had on Colonial Australia. As part of Family Engagement, students were to create a diorama of the historical event they had researched. Family members were encouraged to help students create their diorama. Following are just some of the great dioramas that were presented.
