Library News

Our Book Fair is getting closer!

The time of our Book Fair is approaching once again. The Book Fair will run from Monday 24th May to Friday 28th May. This is during education week and the same week that we have our Open Night.

The Library is closed for classes and borrowing for this week. The books are on display and available for purchase (although copies of popular books do run out and I have to order them).  Opening times for the Book Fair are on Compass and will be in the newsletter next week. They will also be on posters around the school.

Some of the times are designed so that you can come in without children if you want to purchase the books as gifts. Other times are designed so that your children can come in with you.

Do you have any spare Ipad & Iphone Lightning cables?

After the year of years in 2020 due to Covid, many of Croydon Hills devices were taken home to be used for remote learning.

Thank you to everyone for returning our devices, but we are short Lightning cables that may have been left behind or misplaced during our return to school.

The staff in the Computer Lab would love to ask a big favour. If you have any old or spare Lightning cables that may be destined for landfill could they please be donated to the school office?

Thanks so much!

Respectful Relationships - Parent Information Nights

Our Years 3-6 Parent Information Night was a great success and there is sure to be lots of (we hope better informed) conversations in our school community over coming weeks.  Our second Parent Information Night, for parents from Prep - Year 2, is scheduled for:

  • Year P-2 parents- Wednesday 2 June at 7pm

Childminding will be available on both nights. Please email carol.wyatt@education.vic.gov.au to indicate your attendance and book a childcare place if necessary.
