Wellbeing

It is so great to see all of our students back onsite today and hear the school full of energy and excitement.  Well done to all of our students and parents for surviving yet another lockdown period with remote learning.

We now have new values posters that are made using artwork from students at the beginning of the year - check them out!

These posters sit alongside our positive behaviour matrix which form part of our pro social curriculum.  We are looking forward to having some larger format posters produced for our school hall.

As we head back to school after a period of remote learning classrooms will again be focusing on our school values and expectations.  Re-establishing friendships and how to work cooperatively together in the playground will always take some adjustments in these periods.   Our aim through our school wide positive relationships focus is to promote and model the values and teachings of Jesus, maintaining the sacred dignity of all.  To create and maintain positive empathetic relationships, that respect diversity and promote kindness and forgiveness.

It was amazing to see everyone out on the yard today playing cooperatively together and enjoying being back in our wonderful school.  Our lunchtime clubs kicked off again today with Lego and games club in the library, we had some students have a play with our new Lego table kindly donated by the Carnegie family.

We have a number of clubs that run during the week and I have included a list below that you could talk to your child about as an alternative to the playground should they wish.
