Writing Freedom

Writing Freedom panel

A literary and thought-provoking evening

"Congratulations on a terrific, intellectually stimulating evening.  I was incredibly impressed by and felt most blessed to be part of this vibrant and thoughtful community."

NHS Parent

The third annual NHS Writers TalkFest was held last Wednesday, with a stellar panel consisting of Clementine Ford, Maxine Beneba Clarke, Abdi Aden and Jeff Sparrow, thoughtfully anchored by historian, writer and NHS parent Clare Wright. The evening was well attended and featured an engaging discussion on the slippery concept of 'freedom' for these writers. Many thanks to Clare and Head of English, Paul Gilby, for organising another successful celebration of literature and philosophy, and to the staff and students who supported the running of the evening.
