Opens Gala Day

A great day of netball was held last Friday, 29 May, with the Opens' Netball Gala day held in the Den. Our ASC team had two big wins over Glen Innes and Tenterfield before going down to Inverell in the finals.

Thanks to all who assisted during the event.

Netball Cup

Netball began in Week 2 of this term with 80 students attending the Netball Cup competition at the Lynches Road Complex on 27 April. 

Both the Year 9/10 Girls' and Boys' teams remained undefeated throughout the day, and will be representing ASC at the regional finals in Tamworth in Term 3. 

One of the Year 7 Girls' teams, the Thunderbolts, narrowly missed on making the finals. They are showing great potential for achieving many outstanding results in the years ahead!

Saturday Netball

With the strong interest in netball this season, ASC has been able to field two teams in the local Armidale competition.

Both teams are playing with much skill and spirit, with the ASC Storm currently undefeated!

Spectators are always welcome!
