Grade 3-6

Firstly, on behalf of the entire 3—6 senior school team we would like to thank all our students, parents and extended family members for all their support and flexibility during remote learning!  We greatly appreciate all the effort and support you have provided our team over the past two weeks.

Education Week

Before entering remote learning, students were involved in the ‘Community Helpers Parade’ as part of the 2021 Education Week.  Students came to school dressed as an admired community helper.  There were a number of doctors, veterinarians and police officers, as well as some workmen and chefs.  Congratulations to all the students who dressed up and a big thank you to those who donated a gold coin.

Remote Learning

This week, students were focussed on researching and writing information reports on a set topic.  Students uncovered some very interesting information about their topics.  Some students even created posters to present their information!  A real favourite was the PE ‘Motocross Fitness’ lesson, which exhausted students but was happily described as fun by many.

Stay safe and have a lovely week everyone! We hope to see you all in class again soon!
