Encore Nomination – Will Englund

Congratulations to Year 12 musician Will Englund whose excellent skills and beautiful musicality on the tenor saxophone have landed him a nomination for inclusion in Encore 2022.  We are super proud of you Will!  Your hard work and determination have paid off.

We would also like to acknowledge the wonderful teaching of Will’s saxophone teacher, Dr Jay Byrnes, who is one of our team of talented instrumental staff.

Strings Concert

We celebrated the end of a busy term for our string players with a wonderful concert hosted in the DPA featuring all our string ensembles. The concert featured our youngest players in Beginner Strings through to our most experienced in Chamber Strings, celebrating both large and small string ensembles performing a wide range of music. The high standard of music performed reflected the dedication and commitment of our string tutors and ensemble directors. We also acknowledge all our fabulous students and parents who support our program. A particular thanks must also go to Mrs Lorraine Moxey for her wealth of knowledge and expertise and passionate leadership of our Strings program at Kinross Wolaroi.
