From the Head of Senior School

Mr Trent Chapman

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Term 4. I hope the holidays have provided an opportunity to rest and enjoy valuable family time. I take this opportunity to congratulate and thank our students for their positive contributions in the final week of Term 3. The Winter Sports Day and House lunches saw great support and participation from all year groups. As well, the farewell celebrations and Graduation ceremony for our departing Year 12 students were highly successful and enjoyable events.

Riding boots for RDAA

RIDING FOR THE DISABLED ASSOCIATION AUSTRALIA (RDAA) is a voluntary, non-profit organisation which provides opportunities for anyone with a disability to enjoy safe, healthy, therapeutic, horse-related activities in Australia.

The Orange branch of RDAA currently has a shortage of riding boots for their young riders. If any of our families have riding boots that are no longer needed, then RDAA would love to give them a new home. Riding boots of any size that are in good condition can be left at the Senior School Reception office.

Uniform, appearance, and personal organisation

As we transition into the warmer months, students are permitted to wear the summer variants of the old and new uniforms. Mixing of uniforms is not permitted. Accessories such as black school shoes, black belts and regulation school hats must be in a state of good repair.

The use of the school blazer is not compulsory, however there will be formal occasions later in Term 4 that will require students to wear their blazer.

Students are reminded to ensure that their personal appearance is in-line with school policy, including no jewellery, one set of plain earrings, neat and tidy haircuts, and the need for our young men to be cleanly shaved.

Students are reminded that hats are mandatory. Kinross Wolaroi hats are to be worn to and from school, and during recess and lunch when outdoors.
