Mathematics - Probability

In MLA the students have been exploring chance and probability. We started by looking at the language of chance and the different words used to describe the possibility of different everyday events happening.

Some of the key words that you can use when describing chance and probability are:

  • Impossible
  • Possible
  • Unlikely
  • Likely
  • Certain
  • Uncertain
  • Equal Chance

Students then used a continuum to identify, describe and order the chance of events occurring.
