Literacy - Door Wars
Congratulations to everyone for their great contributions to our ‘Book Week Door Wars’ competition. It was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed producing literacy displays and competing with each other for the best winning door.
The votes were counted and the winning doors were:
- The ‘R-2 prize’ goes to P4 for their ‘Jetty Jumping’ display.
- The ‘3-6 prize’ goes to F4 for their ‘Minions, We go Bananas over Books’ display.
The ‘Other Door’ category was quite competitive between the front office displays (a combined effort of Mr Men, Harry Potter, Sushi Carol, and the money door) and the curriculum SSO door with their Alice’s Tea party display.
The votes were counted and again recounted before resulting in a draw! There is therefore a prize for both entries.
A last-minute category was added for the Most Original and Most Inventive Entry. These 2 classes used the Vocaroo Voice Recording program so that visiting classes could use their devices to scan the QR codes and hear an exciting part of the story.
Congratulations to F2 and F3, who have also won a prize each.
Congratulations to everyone who participated. It was a fabulous effort by everyone involved and a wonderful addition to complement our Book Week celebrations.
