Girls Football
WESTIES SCHOOL GIRLS SHIELD
A new and exciting opportunity for 2019 is the Westies School Girls Shield. The program is a 6-week competition based at Mortlock Park (Colonel Light Gardens FC). The competition is a participation-based program and aims at providing girls an enjoyable and safe competition while providing ample opportunity to refine their football skills. This would be a great opportunity for schools/teams competing in the Crows Cup to extend their female football program through a short 6-week season competition. The first round of games will be Wednesday Week 2 of Term 2 (May 8th). Games commence at 4:00pm and would go no longer than an hour including quarter and halftime breaks.

ALL GIRLS TERM 1 AUSKICK
We also have an all-girls Term 1 Auskick Centre based at Ellis Park just off of West Terrace in the city. The ‘West Adelaide FC All Girls Auskick Centre” is the perfect introduction for R-4 girls that are wanting to learn the fundamental skills of the game. Delivered by SANFL Casual Staff – the program commences on Tuesday the 26th of February from3:40pm – 4:40pm.

Lastly, with the SANFL Juniors season not far away, local football clubs are hosting female football come and try days from U8 – U18s.

West Torrens District Cricket Club
WTDCC is one of the Premier Cricket Clubs in your area. As such we are starting the recruitment process for players for competitions for next season. We are looking for players to trial for the Ray Sutton Shield Competition, held from October to December this year and also the West Torrens Young Eagles Academy, again starting on October.
Players will be selected from school years 4-7. See attached flyer for information.
