From the Principal

It's hard to believe that term 4 is over halfway through! Students are remaining engaged in their learning, whilst teachers are busily writing reports to enable families to share in the successes when these are sent home during week 9. Classes are organising different types of celebrations during these next few weeks, providing all students an opportunity to reflect on their year.

What a difference!

As we shared in our last newsletter, a group of students worked with Scott from Rusted Tin to look at what being at Para Vista meant to them. They wrote about their thoughts, put them into drawings and reflected these in symbols which Scott has used to create our mural. There are a couple of bits left to complete but WOW....look at this!

2023 planning

During week 4, our staff participated in our final Pupil Free Day for the year where we reviewed our 2022 Site Improvement Plan, made some plans for 2023 and focused on how we have addressed the 3 directions from our 2019 External School Review. Our leaders have used this to work with our Local Education Team and develop a draft Site Improvement Plan to guide our work in 2023. We will continue to finalise this and will share our directions with families at the beginning of next year. Term 1 will also see us participate in our next External School Review which provides us with additional feedback and guides our improvement.

Staff have been working hard on grouping students into classes for 2023. So many factors are considered in this process and we look forward to providing an opportunity for students to visit their new learning spaces in week 9.

Enjoy the last 4 weeks of the 2022 school year as we celebrate our achievements and set some goals for the year ahead!
