Procedures

Foundation children are currently learning about procedures in Writing. They are learning about the parts of procedures, how to follow procedures and how to write procedures. Students have engaged in a variety of activities and language experiences to develop their knowledge around procedures. Students listened to the Wombat Stew story, then made a wombat stew by following the steps in the story. They then wrote a procedure about how they made it.

A reminder that we celebrate our 100th day of school on Monday 8th August. Teachers have planned special activities for the students throughout the day and we invite all parents/carers to visit our classes any time between 8.45am-9.45am to join in some activities and share the celebration.

We will ensure we share lots of photos on Seesaw for those families that cannot attend.

If you are able to attend, please ensure you exercise covid safe practices by social distancing where possible and wearing a face mask indoors.

We invite students to dress up as a 100 year old on this day. If students do not want to dress up, they are welcome to wear casual clothes.

If you have any questions, please contact your classroom teacher.

We look forward to celebrating such a special milestone!
