Hakea House

Welcome to the second half of Term 1, Hakea!

This term, Hakea has been participating in a lot of different activities. The SRCs have also been doing a great job in planning for this term and the rest of the year. SRCs came together to plan for a range of activities this term, such as having chess club during lunchtimes and playing movies once a week or once every two weeks. We are also raising money for our chosen charity, which is ‘Launch Housing’.

We have had a Dodgeball Tournament and an Uno competition in the past and we are working on having another Uno competition and having more competitions in the house for people to participate in. We have been working to implement a curiosity box in the classrooms for students to be able to put in anything they are worried about or want to have at school.

Our goals for the rest of the year are to partner up with the other Houses and make Cultural Celebration Week the best week possible, as well as raising more money for our chosen charity.
